Professor Reynolds Griffith (home page). Course Goal: Personal Finance helps prepare you for making good financial decisions in many of the areas of finance which you will have to deal with. Course description: Introduction to personal financial planning. Managing your money, including making decisions about goals, personal budgeting, spending, taxes, home buying, managing risk and insurance, investing, and retirement and estate planning. See outline for more detail of the content. See WebCT instructions and User Guide for information on taking web courses and the WebCT course system. Prerequisites: There are no course prerequisites for Fin 269. It is open to any major. See the checklist for Distance Education students. In addition, you need:
