Management, Marketing, and International Business Majors
1. Bachelor of Business Administration in Management (130 hour degree):
- Communication Skills (12 hours): Six semester hours from ENG 131, 132, 133 or 235 plus BCM 247 and COM 111.
- Quantitative Skills (3 hours): MTH 220.
- Natural Sciences (6-8 hours): Six to eight hours from AST 105*; BIO 121*, 123*, 131, 133, 225, 238; CHE 111*, 112*, 133*, 134*, 231*; ENV 110; GOL 131*, 132*; PHY 101*, 102*, 110*, 118*, 131*, 132*, 241*, 242* (An asterick following the course number indicates that the appropriate laboratory course must be taken in conjuction with the lecture course.).
- Humanities & Visual and Performing Arts (6 hours): Three semester hours from ART 280, 281, 282; MUS 140,160; THR 161,370; DAN 341. Three semester hours from ENG 200, 211, 212, 221, 222, 229, 230, 233H, 235, 300; PHI 153, 223; HIS 151, 152.
- Social and Behavioral Sciences (15 hours): Six hours from HIS 133, 134 or 335 plus PSC 141, PSC 142 and ECO 231.
- Lower Level Business Field of Srudy (18 hours): MTH 143, MTH 144, ECO 232, CSC 121, ACC 231, and ACC 232.
- Upper Level Foundation Requirements (24 hours): GBU 325, BLW 335, ECO 339, FIN 333, MGT 370, MGT 371, MGT 463, and MKT 351.
- Major Requirements (24 hours): MGT 422, MGT 472; three to seven hours from MGT 380, PSY 330, SOC 378, STA 320 or ACC 333; and 9-12 additional advanced hours in management (Neither MGT 395 nor 477 may count toward this requirement). A minimum cumulative 2.0 grade point average must be maintained in the management major.
- Electives hours to 130 total hours.
2. Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing (130 hour degree):

3. Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business (130 hour degree):

- Part B: Specialized Region/Country Courses and Cultural and General International Topics: A total of six hours from GEO 310, 365, 450; HIS 303, 312, 313, 320, 321, 332, 333, 342, 352, 412, 413, 416, 461; LAS 300, 450; PSC 304, 338, 441; ANT 231; BLW 437; HMS 230, 403; or SPA 320.
- Part C: Language Requirement: three hours of college credit in a foreign language (a spoken or written language other than English) at a level equivalent to SPA 232/235 or FRE 232/235 or higher.
- A Special Problems course (ACC 475, ECO 475, FIN 475, GBU 475, MGT 475, MKT 475, etc.) or internship course (ACC 485, ECO 485, FIN 485, GBU 485, MGT 476, MKT 486, etc.) may be counted toward Part B of the International Business major if the course is "international" in nature (conducted at least partly overseas or at least partly dealing with international business) and is approved by the chair, Department of Management, Marketing and International Business.
- Electives total 130 hours.
